The Golf Cart Project
The project was to turn an ordinary golf cart
into a miniature 1928 Model A Truck.
Here's the stock Club Car golf cart before any
work had started.
A custom grill shell and front sheet metal panels
were fabricated to resemble the Model A Look.
The corners of the cab were rounded off and
the rear window was redesigned to look more authentic.
Here you can see the cab is starting to look
closer to the old Model A style.
The mock up of what the stake bed will eventually
look like helps bring the look closer to the overall goal.
New bed floor with Oakwood and aluminum rails.
The sheet metal has been assembled and everything
is painted in a classic Model A Green.
The new stake bed with inlaid wood was made
by the owner and really compliments the rest of the work.
You can also see the new canvas top replaced
the old golf cart top.
With new wheels, grill, and hand made fiberglass fenders, this
miniature Model A is ready for delivery.
